As a result of the busyness of recent months we've been delighted to order some additional kit for our inventory including extra QSC K12s and the fantastic Klark Teknic KT20BR which is a bluetooth receiver for all those occasions where you want to play back from Spotify and don't want to plug your phone in.

Our standard  gig pa rig now consists of 4 x k12 and 1 KW181 sub on front of house and LD systems and QSC monitors on stage with the QU24 as desk with iPad remote control for monitors.

In terms of power on front of house that's about 7kw which when translated into proper measurement of Sound Pressure Level means that we can develop a nice even 150degree spread of 132db @1m.

We've also updated our wheels to get the extra kit in. After a rather sad episode with a VW Transporter (boo!!!) we now use a  Mercedes Vito which can transport crew and kit in one well presented shiny package.

Outdoor events have become a speciality for us. We're well used to managing the equipment in all kinds of weather all kinds of settings. This last weekend we were on site at a beautiful private estate providing PA for a wedding.

The equipment line up was 2 x QSC k12.2, 2 x Sennheiser XSW 835s, Aerial distribution system (top right of picture!), DM12 desk and of course the KT bluetooth system. We also used A LOT of 16a mains cable to run from the generator to this remote location.  The client was happy to run the equipment once set up which reduces costs.
